There are hundreds of books on technical indicators and complex trading methods on the market.

There are dozens of conflicting ways to trade and make money on the stock markets. What most people want is an introduction to the markets that immediately actionable and sends them up the learning curve quickly without costing the earth.

If you don’t have an idea about how any of these things, what happens to people who want to trade the stock markets? Generally, they pay a heavy price to have this knowledge gap filled. Basically, it means taking a position for a few months to a few years. This takes out the two risky sides of the time line and allows you to benefit from the lion’s share of the huge price moves that great stocks always make.

Some people start of with momentum trading, the lowest risk time line in investing, but still, many go broke. This is due to mismanaging their account and taking excessive risks. I’m not talking about huge risks in individual positions, I’m talking about risks that are likely over time to produce a sequence of losing trades that will wipe the average trader out. Once you learn about the probability to trading and have risk control measures in place, this risk will forever be removed from your trading.
